Haha, nah. I’m in Indiana. 100% agree about Pappy not being worth the hype. Honestly the bourbon hunt is tiring; there’s plenty of good bourbon out there that you don’t need to run yourself ragged searching for and spend hundreds of dollars on.

That was my impression as well: they simply organized the story thematically rather than chronologically, and they counted on the viewer to eventually catch on while giving you enough of each character’s backstory to make complete sense of their present circumstances. Read more

I also intend to start playing Witcher 3 because of this series. I absolutely loved it, and I thought the time skips were a neat way to show 3 stories and then have them all intersect at the end.

Sounds like a front for a mob place. Who knows, the pulled brisket you are talking about might actually be Tony “banged the wrong girl” Soprano or Pablo (skimmed too much off the top) Escobar.

To me, A & B, absent any other warning signs, wouldn’t be a big deal. Like you said, a new restaurant failing to gauge just how busy they are going to be AND being reluctant to overbuy at the risk of tossing food is not the end of the world. And service jobs notoriously have a lot of turnover. Read more

I can’t wait to see Ewan MacGregor doing his time on Tattooine, only to be rescued by the unexpected appearance of Winnie-the-Pooh.
