Oh god, you’re in Kentucky, aren’t you? I actually worked for a doc who managed to get some Pappy Van Winkle.. gave me some to share with a visiting friend from Britain. It was astoundingly NOT that different than other bourbons. Certainly not for what it costs. Personally, they can keep their Pappy and I’ll get the… Read more
I really don’t agree. The main problem is, you have ALL these central characters to a story that essentially will start in Season 2. They all have vastly different lifespans. If you did it chronologically, you’d either have the Yennifer show for 3 episodes, then the Gerault show for 3 episodes, the Jaskier show for 2… Read more
THIS!.. I don’t understand all the complaints. I had ZERO problems with the timelines. I was a little confused at first, but it’s not an issue and I actually loved the way they brought all the characters together to the same time. I thought it was a really novel way to get EVERYONE’S history out of the way (how they… Read more

My first restaurant job was a Hardee’s.. and you got a heavy discount for food. Wasn’t a great job and was the only job I was literally fired from for not showing up (I really hated it.. I got bullied by other staff and I didn’t mind doing the menial stuff.. but when they literally handed me a toothbrush to clean the… Read more
Okay, you get a star for just.. the morbidity. Thank you for fueling my daydreams about the place next door.
See, these are my questions. I live/work in a small city, and while there is good BBQ, there isn’t any good BBQ downtown (which is where I work at 2 jobs.. ). So, I was REAL excited when the “gourmet” diner next door to the clock shop I work at moved and a homey “BBQ” place moved in. Legit, their BBQ smells AMAZING!… Read more
My very first introduction (in america) to beer at all, was Warsteiner at an Octoberfest in Helena, Ga.. To this day, I go to Octoberfests, Christkindlemarkts and ALWAYS get a Warsteiner.
I can see how he sees that, but no.. he didn’t understand it at all.
