Lovely! Thanks!
Lovely! Thanks!
Oh, that's too bad! Anything in particular that you did not like about it?
Thanks! I'm glad that you enjoyed them!
You mean you don't look like that, Rebecca?
Hey, katmelon! I'm sure that I read somebody mentioning her in one of the comments on that SNS, but I couldn't find it either! (Maybe it actually was on another SNS, but I don't think so . . . .)
Me too! Then I was hooked, like you. She's just fucking brilliant!
Yes, her writing is completely stunning! Somehow, I hadn't read anything of hers up until a few years ago—my socks were totally knocked off! I'll have to read Cat's Eye! Thus far, I've only read this novella (which I heartily, heartily recommend) and The Handmaid's Tale.
Thanks for sharing this! It is completely delightful!

I am so sorry that you are going through that. Good luck and very best wishes. Take care and, if you are able to and feel like it, keep us posted. *hug*

So, no Turkey & Gravy soda then? :P
Me too! The crab is a close second . . .
LOVE. That's a clever one!
That is awesome, too! Rad design indeed. Agreed about the book. (I had a very typical experience of loving it at 13 and being disgusted by it when I re-read it again at 17.)
LOVE this. There's a fun little Tumblr (no longer being updated) called Pages and Polish, where the theme is nail polish designs inspired by book covers or jackets.
She's a Social Democrat (probably, actually!) . . . or sides with the House of Lancaster?
Totally! I've been a vegetarian for 20 years, since grade school. Choked down a tiny bit of salmon a few times recently in an effort to incorporate fish into my diet. While it didn't make me nauseated, I felt pretty weird!
Bravo, Great Britain! Congrats! ♥
