Most of the recalls I’ve been through involved parts on national backorder.
It’s “cast iron” and “turned.”
Then you and everyone who starred you are no better than your hypothetical “get better jobs” commenters.
Some day you may discover that neuropsychology does not reduce to a series of benevolent or malevolent conscious acts.
Are you actually interested in how human memory works - including your own, incidentally - or are you just making a show of your moral outrage?
How do people who remembered something one time forget it at a later time? That’s what “forgetting” means.
The self-driving car hype machine and its uncritical cheerleaders (many of whom work at Jalopnik) deserve plenty of criticism - but this is petty.

Internet sales managers don’t want my business either. Nobody will return an e-mail, let alone a phone call. I’ve had dealers ghost right in the middle of an inventory search. I’m nothing but polite and I’m a serious buyer.
When I was a teenager without two nickels to rub together, I could hardly leave a dealer lot without them throwing me the keys for a test drive. Now when I show up seriously looking at cars, I can’t get the time of day.

Do you find your way everywhere without using a map?
Good Lord the commenters here are self-conscious.
She was a bad candidate. It was reckless to nominate a candidate with such large unfavorables who was so well-known. And it was reckless of Hillary to have so greatly underestimated her opponent.
I don’t think “obsolete” and “unsustainable” mean what they think you mean. The Minuteman IIIs are reliable and accurate. $2 billion a year to maintain the most powerful leg of a heterogenous deterrent is definitely sustainable. This is a $19 trillion economy.
