Whenever I’ve run out of my soap and borrow my husband’s, he immediately tells me how great I smell.

And Kevin Sorbo is one continual butthurt lump that everyone liked Xena better.

I can’t get on board with Tyrion being in love with Dany. I think he holds her in the highest regard he has ever known, but romantic love? No.

I’m so glad you posted this gif.

I’m pretty sure that people empathize with their friends’ and family’s job frustrations all the time.

Using the school-sanctioned workflow software to do it is not ok.

Everyone blows off steam, but do it verbally, off of school property (digital and physical), and to someone who has nothing to do with your job. This level of unprofessionalism and awfulness (especially about harming kids) is RIDICULOUS.

I think he’s her rebound. I mean, if you had your choice of rebounds, he’s a pretty good one.

Growing up in Colorado, which is where I still live, alligators are a very unreal threat. I never think about them. (Bears on the other hand....)

Seriously, fuck the Republicans.

That’s definitely a fair point to make if we didn’t have her current comments to provide context. I totally see where you’re going there, and if she was just a random person on the street, I may not have taken the same point of view.

I am glad you are here today.

Me too.

Your deliberate obtuseness in relation to everything women are telling you is ridiculous. Go troll somewhere else.

Congrats to you!!

I think you protected yourself and your needs just fine. You told her what you needed, and she did not want to give it. You’re not her mom and it sounds like this friendship isn’t one you want to preserve that much. You chose the right thing.

Game nights are really great for this too. Without alcohol, they’re super inexpensive!

I feel like when you choose to not drink around a new recovering alcoholic, it’s not just them, it’s for you. YOU are also trying to create new boundaries in ways in your relationship. I’d say it’s not necessarily about kid gloves, but about showing the person who is quitting that you respect them and support them and

RIGHT? It was so cringe-worthy.

Also note that she called the waiter a teen...and then next referred to him as a child. I guess teens are children, but one who is working is likely at least fifteen. It says so much about HER view of him, IMO.
