I was 100% going to say the same thing. That’s just poor planning if you end up needing to stop there. If you are heading in to that general area and DON’T stop to fill up, in say Barstow, you are just dumb.

It’s closer to 10 cents or so a gallon, depending on the owner.  But yes the majority of the profit comes from sales of product inside the store.

I think the main issue with drones would be battery life.  Just googling “best commercial drone” pulls up a DJI model, not cheap, but it only has a 55 minute battery life, so you would need someone to swap batteries every hour, technically less, and the put it back in place in the air.

Just an anecdote, but my mom and her husband were at the local Mercedes dealer looking for a new/used vehicle, the sales people actively steered them away from their EV’s, not that they were really interested in them in the first place, according to them they were getting a TON back because stuff wasn’t working.

Well to be fair it’s not going to be reducing speed that much in such a brief length of time.  

It won because the supercharger network is bigger and hand down better across the board than competitors.  Is the plug smaller and easier to use, probably, but it is the superior infrastructure of the supercharger network that won.

You are probably right. So long as they don’t need to navigate narrow or shallow areas there is almost no limit on size. I think many are only limited in size by the Panama Canal.
