I totally understand that. I try not to compare people’s feminism full stop, myself. I feel like it’s a nowhere argument.

my grandmother is around betty white’s age, and she’s doing good too. its so funny to watch her watch anything with betty white in it, because i KNOW she’s comparing ability.

Thank you for bringing that term to my attention. I hate it as well, and I don’t want to see it used here again.

this isn’t really a new thing...every 4 years people suddenly remember we are in a democracy and expected to vote...and think it’s only for the president.

They should have taken the poll further and asked whether or not they thought women now had an advantage over men because of “reverse sexism” or whatever the hell they call it. I bet the numbers would have been quite illuminating.

100% of those surveyed who believe sexism is no longer a problem followed their answer, unprompted, with: “do you even know what it’s like in Saudi?” Then they shared a meme about how nice guys never get the girl.

Republican men don’t think women face obstacles because THEY ARE THE OBSTACLE.

I didn’t either. I had to Google it, and was disgusted by the definition.

Sexism and racism were things that we conquered years ago before Obama and Hillary made them real again by getting all uppity and not knowing their places.

........only 23% of Republican men think obstacles exist for women. Not surprised! Also, one of the lead headlines on either CNN or NYT yesterday was “Trump loses ground with key supporters: White Men” I shit you not. I was laughing so hard.

I meant I found the comment funny. Its a word that’s hardwired into my vocabulary, and hope intent prevails.

Now that she’s got the diploma, she should teach a master class on looking that good at 100. NO JOKE.

(Titanic rats. Sorry, this is the best I could do.)

Florida’s republican party must have a rule about only recruiting candidates who have slithered out of the swamp.

Didn’t SCOTUS just declare the admitting privilege restriction unconstitutional as part of their ruling against Texas’s HB2? So no one needs to fight that, right? The judgment applies nationwide, right?

This gives me a faint glimmer of hope when it comes to these burdensome state laws. Maybe the tide is turning? A girl can dream.
