Fun fact: Katsucon (a 19.5K attendee anime and cosplay event) has had the CPAC people try to dictate how fast the clear out of the Gaylord for the past two years. CPAC has even tried to buy out their weekend just so they can have bumper space to set up earlier. (The Gaylord has never complied, but that doesn’t stop

“Bad hombre”= Person with a different skin color than Trump.

I couldn’t get past the idea that people would actually put sugar in grits...

Wow, this was intense to read. Both from your POV, and from the uninsured potential to screw up a life it just saved.

postponing any plans to take any irreversible actions because of something I’m looking forward to—or for any reason—is a good thing. A good coping mechanism that, if nothing else, keeps me here.

Once upon a time, my darling mother once said me “If you can’t marry a white person, then at least marry an Asian. Because they’re almost white.”

I guess he will be fine so long as he has a loofah and a falafel.

As a NYer, this is the approved way of dealing with ANY group that refuses to be polite and not block the sidewalk. Usually its the “type” that come in from middle America, and either does not understand that this is not how it’s done, or does not care. I take great joy in “correcting” them about their “ownership” of

And then smirking when they figured they could fly under the radar. Or “debate” the “merits” of their own

Read this four times. Spectacular.

And then they’ll whine about how “oppressed” they are when it doesn’t happen.

I have never said “burn it down” more than I have this year. Like, almost every day. Almost every hour. I am growling, or shouting, or hissing “burn it [the f***] down.” And my one white friend keeps asking me why. (“I mean, I get s*** sucks, but why are you always saying that?”) To which I reply, “burn it down.”

Parasite Eve. I once played it in “real time” with the events of the game, but usually I just devote either Xmas Eve or Day to playing through the story (can pull it off in about 3.5 hours now, with repeated upgrades to gear).

my local indie theater did a special showing of “Bad Santa,” which I had never seen before. Now that I finally have, I’m left wondering what to think of it- when it “hit,” it hit hard and hilarious. But when it wasn’t hitting, it felt more flat to me. Like, I wanted to snicker, but did more eye rolls.
