As a lifelong Niners fan and Bay Area resident - I lived in San Francisco, Berkeley, Oakland, and Marin County - I have to say that people in the Bay Area find it hard to get to the games because of HOW FAR SANTA CLARA IS from them. NO one wants to drive 3 hours in grid locked traffic to see their team.
