Uh, this looks SO GOOD.
“When their rent in their version of San Francisco gets too high, a couple hires an interdimensional real estate agent.”
This kinda reminds me of the ‘Peter is the Wolf’ webcomic, although far less XXX focused. The relationship between the characters bears similarities to Brandon Shane’s ‘The Monster Under the Bed’, as well.
My favorite take on “Beauty and the Beast,” which is my favorite classic fairy tale: Robin McKinley’s Beauty.
Love it. The creature reminds me of a troll, specifically as from Norwegian folkore; even more so something from Norwegian illustrator Theodor Kittlesen:
looks like a pleasant encounter with a Wendigo
I feel like the little sign should say Wendigo Crossing.
I was just going to say... I felt like I was back in Assassin’s Creed III during the winter portion.
Hey Lauren, just wanted to say thanks for this interesting weekend coverage, and that I hope the MFA is going/has gone well.
I was rewatching The Legend of Korra the other day and realised how much I missed your presence at io9 when going back through your recaps. May your endeavours continue to be successful and best…
You’re a god***m monster. Go chop your onions elsewheres!
But what about Worker and Parasite?
That’s a surprisingly heartbreaking comic.
I just subscribed to Shattered Starlight. What are you trying to do to me?
I checked out Sleepless Domain after seeing that Cagle was finishing up her diary-comic, Let’s Speak English. Even though I’m not into anime or manga, I really loved Cagle’s art style and sense of humor. I got through the first chapter and a half, but after the lone survivor turned out to be the least interesting…
“Will the last person alive please turn the light off?”
Did they feel sparkly afterwards?
I like the alternate theory.
That’s an abusive brolationship.
Are those surgical scrubs you’re wearing because you’ve been in my brain all day
...would rather steal a heart(?)
