Half tons get little diesels. Not the big boy engines of the larger 3/4 and 1 tons. They don’t make 900ft•lbs, more like 400 something as listed in the article. Much closer in capacity to the typical V8 gasers than the diesels used in the dick measuring contest/"Towing Capacity war" that is ongoing in the heavy duty…
