$750 a month for a well-used Chevy Captiva shows a rather large lack of good financial decisions and personal responsibility already.

Story is missing .... facts. So story is just that, a story. And yeah, that lawyer needs to latch onto the kidnapping aspect like a pitbull onto a cat dipped in gravy.
I’ll second this. The BBB is stupid and useless, and has no power to do anything anyway. People threaten to report things to the BBB as is it’s some sort of government agency with enforcement powers. Nope. It’s just analog Yelp.
The part where they towed the car with her in it didn’t ring true for me either. It’s very illegal do tow a car with people in it. Because danger and stuff. Sounds like mistake were made (starting with $750 a month for a Captiva) and bad decisions abounded on both sides during the not-at-all-surprising repo. But not…
Agreed. I’d rather have two or three (depending on my hunger) regular-sized, easy-to-eat non-stunt-food burgers with the apps on the side than this mess of food on a plate.
I love the irony of calling it Good Friday but banning eating one of the things that actually makes it good. Then again, I gave up Catholicism for Lent when I was 16 and have not looked back.
This right here. I don’t drink much at all and I don’t drink and drive ever. But I don’t want to pay for this unnecessary technology to monitor me. It takes long enough to start my current car, get my phone synced with the infotainment, etc. etc. Adding more friction to that is not a solution.
I’d pay $300 to see that.
Um how does a private company plan to “fine” anyone? Aside from being “owed” to the company more like a fee, I’m not sure how they can enforce this.
HA! $4.95/lb. is a deal. I pay around $4 for 8oz. of Kerrigold. And some of the other organic and cultured butters I buy are more than that.
I posted my one and only SB party story in another thread. I loathe football but went to a party and was able to avid watching the TV. No professional chef, but a damn good cook hosted. Worth it. Go to the party.
I can’t stand football, and I simply avoid it, talking about it, etc. I have never seen a SuperBowl, and will be fine dying that way.
I find myself asking this more and more and more these days. And this article was one of those times.
Yeah, that seems ... long. Last year we got our approval with letters of credit, etc. within a couple of days.
We were lucky and our first agent didn’t pressure as at all to spend what we were approved for (about 50% above what we were comfortable spending) and kept us well within out budget, despite a bidding war of 40 bids in 3 days on the ouse we got.
Actually, getting a pre-approval for whatever amount is fine. It’s an approval for “up to” that amount, but not a “must take this or nothing” thing. You can absolutely spend less and still get a loan from them.
There’s going to be plenty of free coverage about this. Free advertising for Post and the band.
I need a Post-It in my home office: “No posting before coffee.”
Just the feta or put the brine in, too? Either way, this sounds AMAZING.
This right here. I never enjoyed Scooby Doo as a kid. It was the pretty much same story over and over with lame jokes and a thin premise, poorly animated.
