I live a few miles from the (current) largest Buc-ee’s location in New Braunfels TX. And I pass it several times a week running errands, etc. It. Is. Always. Crowded. Maybe too much so for my taste. :)

I didn’t realize hey got a head start on the demolition process of the old place. That detail had obviously escaped me. 

I used to live in Denver and saw the start of construction on this. It might be silly and empty and useless at the moment, but it’s a lot nicer than the dilapidated motel that used to be there.

That thing is just ugly. Motherfugly. 

Do they own VinDiesel? Oh that’s right, they’re not doing ICE any more. 

I’d take pretty much anything, including a moped, over it.

I fully admit I have never “gotten” Twitter. So much noise. So little signal. Just never bothered to spend much time figuring it out since there’s so little actual value there.

I dunno. Some ugly lumpy penalty box with horrid rear seat visibility.

So the baling wire and sausage can were upgrades. :) 

That garbage is the first thing I turn off. It’s beyond awful and makes everything look extra fake.

So as a white CIS gender hetero male in a male-dominated high-paying industry (tech). In other words, I have ALL the privilege. Won’t me asking about DEI initiatives in the company come off a bit odd?

If that car was well sorted, $19k is a bit of an ask, but not terrible. With Brake issues, that $19k ask is a down payment. You could easily spend half that sorting it out, and the full purchase price if the suspension is grumpy as well. 

I prefer capicola to that stuff.

I don’t see how reducing the seating by 17% is going to quadruple the price.

But they were carbage from the factory. Sure, the mods actually bring it up, done by a reputable shop. But the underlying fourth-generation F-body cars were all turds. They’re fundamentally not good for a variety of reasons and will always be ND. 

I love licorice candy, even the oddball salty ones. I’d even trade pink and other jellybeans with my sister for her black ones.
