I see your point, but I don't think Brian means it in that way. The trendy hipsters here aren't the same as they are in the west.

I love how deep this one goes.
Holy smokes!! It flows so well that I totally didn't realize it was all one shot. Props to the steadicam operator... the pressure he felt must've been so intense!
How would something like this (theoretically) work? What with the planets orbiting/rotating and all. If someone could explain, it'd be greatly appreciated :)
It's clearly unfinished work. Probably uploaded as-is. I'm sure all of that will be fixed for the blu-ray release.
We seriously need to do another pre-TGS Kotaku party. There hasn't been one in years.
Seems to have been taken down. Was it the cowboy one? Just want to make sure I watched the right one on YouTube.
I am giggling like a mad man, but did no one else get the joke?! :(
Are you talking about the overall (not necessarily graphical) quality of old FMV sequences? Cause I don't seen anything particularly shitty about the CG used here. Sure, still a bit fake, but it's far from bad CG.
Fixception?
I haven't played Clash at Demonhead since I was a kid. I'm afraid if I try it out again now, my head would explode with nostalgia.
These are actually very good, I've bought them a few times now. Fahey is crazy.
I was scrolling through the comments to make sure this was in there. Don't mind the hate. People with bad taste are everywhere! All my Evil Dead fan friends enjoyed it as well, which is more important than internet "critics" anyway.
Thank you! After watching the episode, I rushed to io9 specifically to find this article, specifically to discuss this line, and as you did, I searched for and found no such discussion.
Why has no one mentioned the "Don't tase me, bro" line? I love how casually that was tossed in there.
You know what, that was actually a very mature reply, and I respect you for that. You're very right... I'd rather have your replies than on Kotaku who instantly resort to swearing and name-calling. And there are a lot of those.
Whenever discussions like this arise, I always imagine the two parties, in this case you and Mr. Anonymous, talking about it in person. Would you say the same things? In the same way? (Both are rhetorical questions, by the way.) It's just something I wonder about. I'd give anything to see something like that filmed…
My female friends also say the same thing about Supernatural all the time :P Specifically my friend Jen... she goes on and on about how Dean should just admit he's in love with Cas. I mean... I totally understand the fantasy, but it would completely break the show. It wouldn't make much sense.
Jesus. I've seen many variations of that meme, but this one made me laugh the hardest.
Out of curiosity, what other parts make up the rest of your system? Specifically: motherboard, CPU and memory. I have a system I built maybe three years ago and am about to put in a GTX 560 (which I know isn't as good), but I have a feeling I wouldn't be able to get near max settings for something like Tomb Raider :/
