“We can make this meat pie even better by removing the meat!”

Yup. Anything left of “very ripe” is a recipe for tummy cramps an hour after consumption.

Underripe bananas taste yucky to me. I’ve only ever stuck bananas in the fridge when I’ve had a fruit fly problem. That’s definitely not to keep them fresh, it’s just to put them somewhere that’s not a plastic bag but also where the flies can’t feed off of them.

On the scale of ripeness, that banana would’ve been subject to om, nom, nom termination IMHO. Anything *left of that, and that’s where the poo issues come for my system.

An octogenarian love story where a woman’s Jazzy Scooter breaks down and the repairman and her fall in love?  Like the “Mrs. Albert Hannaday” movie-within-the-show from The Office?  Let’s switch it up!

Living for this. I live in Vancouver and I work in film so I’ve ended crewing on a few Hallmarks this year. Here are some things I learned:

Fun fact, my mom started watching “A Christmas Prince” thinking it was “The Crown.” Confusion ensued.

As a Strong Woman who lives in a Small Town there aren’t any Hot Farmers at all. All I’ve got is is one (married) skeezy guy who overcharges me for lawn care and a bunch of Olds either on tractors or Jazzy Scooters.

The whole thing just makes me sad; because, in a way, Trump wins even if he loses, because white supremacy is given power. When, in fact, if we all just show up, including young voters; and voted consistently; we win; because there are more of us than there are of them.

I think what makes me sad is that neither Booker or Harris could make enough in roads in the moderate lane that was occupied by Biden and Buttigieg. That’s kind of what galls me. Booker and Harris are eminently more qualified than Buttigieg. And Biden is just coasting on name recognition and Obama nostalgia; not even

This site in 2016: Hillary was just a bad candidate. This site in 2019. Kamala was just a bad candidate.

The “Kamala is a cop” campaign was an extreme oversimplification of her history as an AG. Her history as an AG was much more mixed. A narrative one could choose to have about it is that Kamala Harris was in fact one of the earliest reformers working in the system, even if she was flawed while doing so. It’d probably

I am a black woman who was always on board with Harris. I don’t buy the arguments made here. She never made any egregious mistakes or scandals to explain her precipitous drop. She tried to straddle the progressive and moderate divide, it didn’t work but it was not necessarily unwise. After all we keep hearing that

Also watched and giggled every time he would say “Old Crone! Surely I’m not the only one who began wondering about a Netflix meta-Christmas-verse right? Between Christmas in the Wild popping up on Netflix during the movie, the Aldovian Christmas ornament call out, and Vanessa Hudgens Christmas Baker/Princess movie

I just started to assume everything was anachronistic, and was surprised to find cumin (one of his ingredients in the back pain poultice) was in England by that time.

Yeah I got mad when he started talking about getting oranges in his Christmas stocking. I was like sweet oranges would not have been around in the 14thC and they were a massive luxury when they first arrived.

You didn’t even mention (that I noticed) that there’s a whole set up with the “Old Crone” with Cole’s brother so I definitely smell a sequel in there somewhere...

He knew what a skunk was! Skunks are a new world species and absolutely not something he would have ever seen in 13th century England.

Except that’s willfully malicious misinterpretation of what was actually said.

It’s time to forgive Charles for his love for a woman his mother wouldn’t let him marry. We all loved Diana, but that relationship they were both forced into was destined to be a failure from the start. The real villain is not Charles, it’s the people who decided that they could impose an arranged royal marriage and
