Yeah. Both girls didn't quite match the art style. Pauling looks more like Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite.

Doesn't mean Pyro isn't some other girl.

No, to my knowledge, she isn't.

Scout hit on another blonde girl once, but that comic wasn't canon.

Pyro stands up and blasts the monster with fire in the final battle while Pauling's protecting Scout.

If I had to guess, it's because IDW owns the comic book rights to both franchises, and they're admittedly a bit shameless with most of their crossovers. They crossed over Angry Birds with five different franchises this month to promote their new AB kids' comic.

I think if Nintendo ever does their own anime, I'd like a Smash anime, but I think as a warm-up, just to test what they can do with animation, I'd like a WarioWare slice-of-life show. I don't think the games, as much as I love them, have ever utilized its charming, funny cast as much as I'd like them to.

Fair enough. My motto is that I just don't wear, buy, or eat anything from an endangered species, and that I'm warm enough without wearing a fur coat. (Besides, fur sheds, and can set off allergic reactions. It's not worth it.)

I did worry as a kid that, when I took piano lessons, I'd be literally "tickling ivory". I

Reminds me of the episode of The Real Ghostbusters, where a small town was run by feuding vampires and werewolves.

As someone who grew up with and had passionate feelings for Disney as a kid (and still does today), I have a lot of conflicting feelings about this film.

I guess I'm fine with that. I had a relative who died when I was young, and she gave my family some coats and shrugs made of fur in her will. I was old enough to know I was opposed to wearing fur, but my mother convinced me that the fur products were much older than I was, and it was a heirloom, so it was fine. I'm

I honestly live in fear of unintentionally being insensitive and restrictive to people, especially since I am, as she mentioned, a white Jew. I want to be open and supportive of other women, of other queer people, of people with mental and physical disabilities, of non-white people (one of my friends who is black

They have subtle boob lines drawn on them. Some have lipstick as well, some don't. I've heard mixed reactions on whether people like it or not.

Part of me doesn't mind, because most female scientists, if not all, work with guys, and it's still displaying a sense of representation and badass STEM ladies.

I'm not a fan of incest, but I love crossdressing, and there seems to be enough of it that I can overlook the incest.

I've heard it argued that that makes her a transgender woman, but I suppose that's subjective.

I think I may hold off on Madoka for now, if only because I've been really anxious lately, and I don't think I could deal with a downer anime. Sailor Moon seems (mostly) more positive.

For the longest time, I only knew "fracking" as defined by Battlestar Galactica. So I was utterly baffled as to why people wanted to ban it.

I don't need it explained to me. I already understand. I thought you were saying "it's relevant because Miyamoto thinks gay relationships are gross, so do I, he's correct", that's why I got upset.

Agreed. I have a friend in an open relationship (he's gay, she's a lesbian, they still love each other very much) that works fantastically, so I'm not against them, but both people have to be on board for it to work. I had an ex who wanted to be open (although his definition of "being open" was "I can sleep around,

They do, for a few shows, like Baccano! and Black Lagoon.
