Offering those options costs money. Mazda is a small company and needs to focus on a sustainable operation. It’s unfortunate, but that’s the reality.

I’m not huge on the exterior styling, but that interior and the cockpit glass are something else.

I’m expecting an all-new Mazda6 introduction next year. Will be interesting to see what their product positioning looks like then.

It’s possible this sort of feedback is what led Mazda to offer a 6MT on the new 3 in the top trim only. And people still complained.
