Killing people and letting people die are very different. In our society, one is a capital offense and the other isn't even a crime. Clarke has done something immoral, but it is not on the same level as Finn.

I loved that Clarke said, "I'm not doing this anymore," in this episode. She stood up to Lexa and announced that she wasn't going to sacrifice people. I am really hoping Clarke suffers for not saving people in TonDC, but I hope that suffering leads her to become a stronger, wiser, better leader.

I think it's the paint because the paint draws attention to her eyes in the scene, so that you can see that she's looking at Clarke with affection (rather than just lust), and also so that your eyes are drawn to their faces rather than other places on their bodies.

You're looking for Xena. She's the one example I can think of. I'm fairly certain the subtext was text by the last season.

I really wanted to see Wick fumbling with it. It looked difficult to remove.

I was annoyed with the City of Light shenanigans until the quadricopter. That was intriguing enough to bring me back into the plot.

Too mom/daughter for me.

STOICHIOMETRY!

I really am considering writing to the CW to demand more Lexa. I will include, as part of my protest, a vat of smoky eye makeup.

Her emotional responses were really beautifully done in this episode. I love how she was both shy about her leg, and also defiant about it.

It does feel like they could build an electric fence or something, though. Or maybe breed some dogs? I agree that it's difficult because we don't really have a sense of how much energy/food Mt Weather has access to (I mean, we know they have a dam, but that's about it).

I like to imagine that it's been at least 3 weeks, if only because otherwise no one has slept in a week at least.

That makes sense, considering TonDC is, in the real world, more than 20 miles from Mt. Weather.

But they're in a bunker that was built to withstand nuclear attack, right? IDK, maybe it's hard to direct an ICBM to such a close target? I'm not really up on my missile aiming knowledge.

I think she's competent, and to me that's almost worse than being bad when it comes to campy, fun, over-the-top sci-fi.

Or alternate future! Remember, the woman said something about "man you will meet…"

I'm not sure about that—we know it takes a lot of power to use the time machine. I'm not sure if Jones would put an untested traveler like Ramsey in the machine.

I really thought I'd missed an entire scene and had to back up the DVR. But, no, that was really just a terribly executed, bad-60s-sci-fi level escape scene. I expected stop-motion animation to cut in and then a dinosaur to appear or something.

Yeah, that doesn't seem like something that a terrorist group could do, but I guess if it leads to some kind of cascading war, like you posit, it's possible? I guess my point is that the cascade effect doesn't have to start with today's nuclear powers.

Andrew has always been a bit nicer about his fellow contestants than Andrew and Samuel were, though. Your criticisms of the show are valid, but I have a soft spot for Andrew, who frequently helps his fellow competitors.
