I'm hoping Indra and Kane were protected underground. Then again, it would be a cheat for the show to kill off that many people—and yet no named characters.

I figure that Lexa is banking on a huge win against Mt. Weather. Not just because she wants to protect her people from becoming Reavers/being used as blood donors, but also because it's got to be HUGE to be the commander who eliminates Mt. Weather. Her position would be secure for a long time based on that win.

I felt like Dr. Singh could have used some character development beyond being a futuristic Dr. Mengele, but otherwise I 100% agree with you (even the Evil President Son has good character development—you can see him struggling with his decisions, and he gives his father the bone marrow so he can go to the surface!).

I would say the difference is really "most TV production" vs. "HBO-quality production." The 100 looks very much like a lot of Canadian sci-fi productions (Supernatural, Continuum, BSG), and not a lot like GoT or Rome.

This show is better than GoT right now. GoT is spinning its wheels currently (granted, it could improve next season, but as someone who's read the books…yeeesh). This show is fresh and thoroughly enjoyable, in ways that GoT hasn't been since S2.

Irish, eh? Stay out of Liam Neeson's territory.

Hey, the Fatherland was depressed, okay?!!

Well, you could argue that we disliked it because it interfered with our imperialist ambitions.

I was reading one of TVDW's articles on Vox yesterday, and I immediately scrolled down to the comments so that I could argue with Todd, and then I remembered. He's found a job where he doesn't have to be subjected to our constant barrage of snarkery and name-calling! I miss the Swag Onion.

When it's explicit, can we really call it "veiled"?

HBO had a series called Boardwalk Empire.

They wouldn't get away with Bowling For Columbine. Too anti-Colorado. Plus, might give the kiddos ideas.

Don't forget Lady Britannia!

Last week I called that Ayla and Kayla were going home. That was pretty foreseeable. I just wish they'd had a cook-off at the end of the episode to make it less transparent.

I couldn't tell if they got Jenna new oil or not—I wondered if she was using oil that had already been burnt.

Yes. Google stuff like, "Hell's Kitchen dining experience," "Kitchen Nightmares diners," and "Masterchef diners." People write blog posts about their roles as diners on these shows. They get free food, but the only way to get on TV is to do or say something dramatic, so they're encouraged to ramp up their behavior

I think Andrew is naturally the very nice guy we saw last week. All the other kids mentioned how nice he is, normally. I think he just got carried away by this challenge, which he has probably seen on TV too many times, and didn't handle it right. Heck, he's 11 years old. I can easily imagine myself getting

I think they made it clear that she was a competent cook, so I can see how she made it to this episode. But getting rid of her this way, when she seemed to be doing better in this challenge than most of the other contestants, belied how very rigged this show is. I mean, it's a Fox reality show, so duh, but I feel

Too late:

I think Ayla suffered less from racism and more from Fox's hatred of letting boring people into the semifinal episode. Though the way they got rid of her in this episode was disgusting.
