Let’s not forget his wonderful commemorative mullet tattoo. Living legend.

Personally, I believe MotoGP is the most interesting series this year. Thus far in 12 races there have been 7 different winners from 6 different teams. Two of those teams were non-factory (the last time a satellite team won was 2006). It is far more interesting to watch than in 2014 when Marc Marquez win 10 in a row…
Suspension is something that can’t be an afterthought. On all of the older CBs axle twist is a real thing, and can be dangerous. In 75% of the photos above there isn’t a front fender. Now, these photos could be during the build. Those rear RFY shocks don’t have the best out of the box reputation. I just want the rider…
I hope your motorcycle is found and return without a scratch on it. That being said, if/when you get it back, a fender or fork brace NEEDS to be put on it. Also, those Chinese shocks need at least a full rebuild and the correct springs before I would consider them safe for the road.
I really wish Jalopnik would kill off Lanesplitter. After Sean MacDonald was let go this blog has been on a huge downward spiral. Nearly 50% of the articles on the front page are strictly two wheels bad. Granted there have been a few tragic deaths over the weekend, but the real issue is there has been a lack of…
Welcome to the new Lanesplitter Two Wheels Bad.
MotoGP doesn’t allow an ABS system. Crash analysis that I have heard is that Dani didn’t have enough weight on the rear tire and loaded up his front end too much allowing the front to lock up.
Two questions:
I plan on buying a new motorcycle by the end of the year. The Hypermotard has always been at the top of my list. Is the SP worth the extra cost? This bike would used for daily freeway commuting, occasional 3 hour 85 mph interstate riding, and maybe a track day every blue moon. In what cases would you buy the SP, and…
It isn’t worth it. They haven’t added any videos since mid-November, but they are still charging subscribers every month for no new content. They promised 20 mins+ weekly videos, but quality went down then eventually quantity. A lot of subscribers have been asking questions about what has been going on. No updates,…

Could the sumo realistically be the single motorcycle in the garage? Would you feel comfortable (not necessarily physically comfortable) taking it on the interstate for 2-4 hours? With your money would you rather buy a Hypermotard for a grand or two more?
Want to ride “superbikes?” Go to a school that offers liter bikes with great instructors. What about supermoto, flat track, etc? Again go to a school that offers a safe controlled environment that offers those motorcycles. It is a lot cheaper to find out if you are comfortable with that style of riding without…
Motortrend On-Demand has some coverage of the Dakar. For $5 a month you get the gearhead version of Netflix.
But the real question is, will it come in Rossi livery?
They just released a video for it.
I love the B-52 cockpit. Everyone gets an ejection seat!
The 2016 was going to be an exciting season even before all of this drama. Since Bridgestone will no longer be producing the tires for the series we could see some big changes with factories strengths and weaknesses. Also, I am very curious how the ECU changes are going to change the grid. It might be a season of…
The Motoczysz C1 was an American built MotoGP “Prototype/Concept/etc.” The unique part of this motorcycle was the 990cc counter-revolution engine. It was designed so the rider going into high speed turns does not have to fight the gyroscopic and torque effects from the engine. The idea was to make every turn easier…
