It won’t kill anybody if you set the stick of butter out on the counter to soften overnight. Probably not the eggs, either. Just be sure to wash your hands after you crack them.

Wisconsin over Duke in the NCAA finals. Who knows when the Badgers will ever have that chance again.

The guy was probably already compensated for building the thing in the first place. If the shop didn’t take precautions to protect it better, that’s their loss.

I still remember watching a Brewers game where someone hit a walkoff grand slam, the three runners on base crossed home, but whoever hit it only made it as far as second before he was swamped by the rest of the team. He never crossed home, his run was taken off the final score and he was only credited with a three-run

That was pretty cool, although slobbery balls on a clay court had to get pretty disgusting after awhile.

Looking at that box, today I learned there’s a place in my town that makes stuff like this. I’m going to have to do further research.

According to the guy on the Sprecher tour, they most of their money off of their root beer business which pays for their beer brewing hobby.

I never considered this to be anything other than a middle finger. It’s way funnier that way.

Guaranteed: While I’m driving, my wife takes a nap and the kids are occupied, peaceful, or sleeping as well. When my wife takes her turn driving, the kids all starting asking for stuff every two minutes meaning I can’t relax myself.

I never get nuggets at McDonalds, but I’ve been dipping my fries in Hot Mustard sauce for decades.

I die a little bit every time I go to my in-law’s house and see that their 60” 1080p TV is tuned to the SD-version of a channel. Although for that I partially blame Time-Warner for not having a setting to automatically jump to the HD version if available.

Disney isn’t going to just sell a disc-only update version of the game, as it would be useless without figures. But if the base is going to be identical again, give me a version with just the disc and a couple of figures for $30 to cover the cost of the figures and $10-$20 for the disc and packaging, so $40-$50 total

Not really... Now I’ll go from spending $0 on discs to spending $9.99.

This word makes me sad.

There’s a “your mom” joke in there somewhere...

So this kind of concludes the rewrite of Ser Barristan/Jorah from the books, where we didn't know that "Whitebeard" was Selmy until about now.

Not really spoilery anymore, but…
