Nah, I’m not missing THAT debate, it’s just not the debate I was having (which, was in response to someone essentially saying that having a physiological advantage is unfair). To the argument of her womanhood, I think it raises a gross set of questions, and a lot of people making a lot of assumptions that seem to have

Oh please, spare me the PED talk and making her out to be McGuire or some shit. I’d have to strap on stilts to dunk on Jordan, but you don’t see me complaining about it.

It’s not fair to whom? It seems like her unique physiology has given her some advantages that are abnormal, and she’s still considered a woman. How is that any different than someone who can block a shot without leaving the ground because they’re 7'?

She’s not a man though?

Phelps’s genetic makeup gives him a decided advantage over other swimmers beyond just his mechanics. And the results speak for themselves. You seem to have decided rather arbitrarily where the line is being drawn when it comes to genetics.

What about basketball players who are naturally much taller than other basketball players? That’s an unfair advantage to all the shorter basketball players out there.

I was at a cookout celebrating my niece’s baptism, having a nice conversation about baseball with my dad and my brother’s friend, when invariably my brother brought up soccer and how amazing some team winning some premiere championship rider’s cup tournament of roses thing and how incredible that is and fuck soccer is

In one game, Bears fans sitting behind me, my gf, and my buddy and his gf, kept kicking our seats, splashing beer in their cupholders all over our backs. They were thoroughly tanked, to the point where the beer vendors stopped selling them booze, they talked about how much they wanted to “fuck some bitches” and all

Oh yeah, I can imagine 30 MMR Tracers/Genjis are /really/ bad. My heart goes out to you!

Wild. Are you only playing quick play only or lower MMR? At 60 MMR in comp mode, a Reaper,Genji, or Tracer is pretty essential for a good team comp.

There are good Hanzos. They’re just so rare that the bad ones make it so I react pretty negatively when I see someone pick Hanzo straight away. Most times it’s like being down a player. When grouped with a pubbie who selects him in comp, my friends and I always say “RED FLAG” in group chat - and usually we’re right.

I mean, he’s pretty tough, I play Zen a bunch and he’s great, especially with the buff to his health and instantaneous orbs. I’d rather have him on a team than Mercy now. Depends on your MMR in comp mode, I guess.

That Hanzo is always a bad pick, but if you play a tank like Reinhardt (and, hopefully, that Hanzo plays a tank like Zarya or Roadhog instead - which is unlikely since most Hanzo players are the worst people on the planet) that’s not a terrible team comp at all.

nice, they put the good mega man on it and not the first one.

the headline here sounds like the title of a collected garfield book

“Also: the floodgates are already open on public/private partnerships on publicly-owned land. That ship sailed (thanks in part to sports stadiums) decades ago.”

yes, that was for the revised plan. but with the original, what about infrastructure improvements along LSD to get to the new museum as well as upkeep and services? soldier field was supposed to be a “gift” too that we’re somehow still mysteriously in debt over. saying this wouldn’t have cost the city anything

bingo. a lot of people seem to ignore that this will /still cost chicago a lot of money/, along with the fact that this incredibly short sighted deal ignores how long we’d be stuck with it if it goes south.

the city would have to still front $1.5 billion for this

Putting the Cardinals and the Browns in the same poll. God damn you. This is the toughest decision I’ve made all da— haha, just kidding, go to hell Cards.
