I want the Batwoman figure. Finally Kate can carry around Beth’s severed head. After shaving her hair.

Say it with me kids: Every great villain is the hero of his own story.

The best description of the show I’ve read is that it’s like a play being put on by 5th graders: not good, but the charm of it carries you. I know i09 keeps acting like it’s great, but it’s not. This show is carried on its charm and charm alone.

Does the show want you to dislike him? He seems like a likable character to me - gruff and grumpy, but also usually right, a decent mentor, and secretly having a bit of a soft side.

Agreed. A-hole Namor is the Best Namor.

Let’s hope so!

I thought Universal still had rights to Namor? I’m assuming they expired or Marvel bought them back.

Because if they don’t they will be accused of being a right wing nut by their peers.

Usually I look at these sorts of things and think, “Oh, that’s kind of neat” and then go buy a bunch more Japanese action figures. But Mjolnir! MJOLNIR!! MJOLNIR!!! That sucker is pretty nice looking for the price point. I’m not a cosplay guy, though I appreciate it when it’s well done, but I do love me some props.

Why would anyone watch this?

Ha, that was my first thought too! All shall love her and despair. One of my favorite scenes.

Tilda is always a great choice, especially for otherworldly roles, but Kate is a bit better at playing regal, I think. Hela looks pretty young in the comics, so I had my doubts at first, but I’m looking forward to her performance.

I feel like it could be lost to him in Ragnarok and then he is left with using Jarnbjorn for Infinity Wars for some duration.

I think they’ve said a plot point is that he’s separated from it for a stretch during the movie, but I take it you meant more that he loses it by the end of the movie, a la the comics?

So what are the odds that Thor loses Mjolnir in Ragnarok? The concept art of Infinity War shows him something looking closer to Jarnbjorn.

Insert soul for sale quote here.

Hmmm... definitely sounds suspicious that Beltrami stole the theme. I have loved most Beltrami scores so I would be very disappointed to find out this is plagiarism.

More like Loki in Avengers. Or at least he WISH he had someone like Loki in Avengers. I expect Steppenwolf to have the charisma of a Chitauri Leviathan.
