I want to know if it will be possible to buy one without a shady dealer putting a $20k markup on it?

On wide freeways where everyone is going the same direction at roughly the same speed there is no safety difference between 55, 65, 75 or 85.

Right now the best option is most cases is to keep and repair as long as you can get parts. I have put nearly 10k into my truck over the last 3 years. Brand new front end, some non-essential upgrades and a new transmission. The original one died at 198k miles. The truck has been paid off for about 5 or 6 years.

If it were not for low supply numbers I actually have Nissan at the top of my list if I was going to Buy a full-size truck today. Specifically a 4-door Pro4x.

I would just like to convert my Suburban to an EV. Remove the gas tank, engine, and all the other ICE things and put a ton of batteries in there and motor. I don’t need long range out of it, just around town stuff.

no, for journalistic publications there is a fair use statute.

Agreed, just take a dang screen shot and re-post it here.... ugh. This site is so lazy.

I find it crazy that the average price is below $5/gallon in the majority of states. I have not seen prices below $5 for a few years now in San Diego.

you are missing the point. the tax is to dissuade them being in DC because they are bad for the roads and dangerous to pedestrians. giving a 1000lb discount to the EV market shows that those reasons don’t matter for EV’s, they are pretending that those vehicles are 1000lbs lighter? They still do just as much damage

So the facts are heavier vehicles cause more damage to the roads and hurt pedestrians more when they are hit by one, but if that Heavy Vehicle is an EV then facts don’t matter?

For those of us that live in SoCal we probably will see these on the road.

I feel like current train cars could all be retrofitted with Turbines on the wheels to generate electricity non-stop during a trains travels...

Old enough to get the reference. Have a star.

Are they trying to invent a new market Segment? Dirt Jumpers don’t need a motor, pump tracks are setup in a way to make everything about gravity and pump momentum. This is a 48lb Fully Rigid Dirt Jump bike with a stupid suspension seat..... It is a good thing they are making so few of them. You cannot even stick some

Depending on where the boat is going and stopping they would have plenty of scenery. I have been on 2 cruises, once as a kid we did LA to Ensenada. You could see the shore the entire cruise. The other was an Alaskan Cruise that left from Seattle and aside from being out at sea during the night to get to the inland

this is such a non-story.

I was thinking the same thing. I have been on a cruise before and it would be an interesting option for retirement as long as you could also afford to pay for the internet when you need it and be able to get all your prescriptions filled.

If 45% is attributed to those things, is the other 55% attributed to Distracted Driving, meaning driving while looking at a screen, be it a phone, tablet or laptop......

I saw one of these on a Tesla a few months ago and thought it was for sure some weird illegal attempt to not have a plate bracket on the front. Forgot about that until seeing this article. I still don’t get why front plates are required on Cars that have a plate on the rear, but not on Motorcycles that only have to

350 crate motors are not rare, plenty of purchasing options if you search it: https://www.google.com/search?q=gm+350+crate+motors&rlz=1C1GCEB_enUS967US967&oq=GM+350&aqs=chrome.2.69i57j0i512l7j46i10i433j0i512.4406j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
