There’s no doubt that it’s worth jumping in and watching. Honestly, this season started out a little shaky for me as I all I could see was Daisy whining about the treatment of the inhumans. Then, the Fitz-Simmons plot kicked in and they came through with a couple tremendous episodes. Last night’s ep made it 3 complete

A spaceship would be great, as long as it was wormhole capable. Otherwise the average person would die of boredom, even at the speed of light! The person who wanted to bring a Ferengi along probably had the right idea, probably take 30 or 40 years to master Pongo...

So far, it moving along nicely. Yes, there are interesting characters, but really, I can’t say that I like them all that much. To me, I feel like I’m racing to find out what is going on, because the book has made me very curious to find out what’s making this society tick. It’s one of those donkey wagon with a

I’m at about 30% in this one and it definitely has my attention. I’m just starting to get a feel for the people and this world. The best way I can describe this book so far is that it is different. It’s not your normal colonization book, nor is it written in a readily distinguishable style. But that’s all a good

People still communicate face to face, I guess? Probably a good thing or maybe I’m just biased because I read way to much sci-fi.

Limitless is a very clever show. At first, I didn’t see any way that I could like the main character, because he reminded me of a fraternity brother clone. I watched because I really like Jennifer Carpenter. I’m glad I stuck around, as it makes my Tuesday night TV, too. The stories are getting deeper and the intrigue

I’m just so impressed with this show. There’s no longer any doubt that Rob Thomas can put together a tv show and that Victoria Mars wasn’t just a fabulous one-off. The plot and dialogue are excellent. I like it because the viewer has to pay attention. You can sorta tell by reading a lot of the comments here. People

630 comments! Whew! Any article based on shows canceled either in their prime or before their time is a guaranteed comment magnet. Rightly so, too. Somebody should chart how many of the comments are based on SyFy or Fox productions!

I sure do miss the old interactive fiction, those were some fun times. Nice catch!

Whew! Now that was a good episode! Well done! Honestly, the show was getting a bit old hat to me as of late. There’s been a few new characters, but basically nobody has killed Ward yet, he’s still Hydra, and now a competing agency that I don’t really care about is trying to undermine Shield. Even the whole drama with

I just read a pretty interesting article/interview with the creator where he discusses what they were able to cover in the 6 episodes and what they had to leave on the table. The links below. But your right, the traveler was a pretty interesting storyline that I wish they had included. Also, I just realized I used the

I recall that prior to the first season of Defiance, SyFy managed to mention the $money$ that they were spending on this TV show/Video game project. Not just once or twice, but absolutely every article about this show talked about this massive investment. I thought it a little tacky at the time. The first season was

I thought it was a pretty decent ending, too. Plus I was really happy that Keira didn’t just get to waltz back into her old life as a mommy and peacekeeper. Even though virtually everybody told her going forward was basically a crapshoot, nobody bothered to mention that she could end up being an extra in her own time

I like this one on an episodic platform much better than a one-shot movie. Casting is going to be fun to hear about, too. I had honestly about given up on ever seeing this anywhere except in the comics, so good news all the way around!

Even if Papa Smurf, Rin-Tin-Tin, and Popeye show up next episode speaking in tongues, I’m going to keep watching this one. Everything else aside, I want to find out what happened to the departed people. It’s so strange and I may be wrong, but I figure somebody has a plan for this show and I’m very curious to see what

I read a handful of Shannara tales a long time ago and mostly enjoyed them. I’ve never felt the desire to go back and revisit them, tho. I am, however, excited about this production. It looks fantastic. If it was SyFy bringing it alive, I’d be worried. They’ve got big bucks invested in the Expanse and I just know

Too bad we can’t just space this ass. I hate this shit. It just goes to prove that just because a person achieves something pretty special and smiles pretty for the cameras, he can still be a grade A dirt-bag. Best course of action for us humans out here is to never let these incidents be forgotten. Even if this guy

I just finished this one today. I was so sad when it ended. Seriously, I strung out the last 50 pages for a few hours so I wouldn’t hit the end. Great characters, each species was introduced with just the right amount of information, and everyone of them left me wanting for more. Thanks for the tip, Io9, another

Yup, you hit the nail on the head, Doc. Not only are these my favorite Mars books, they rank pretty high on my all time best list. I think I enjoyed my first reading of this trilogy as much as I’ve enjoyed any book, period. The scale and magnitude of the ideas KSR put forth in these was Mars shattering. Good choice!

I agree. I pre-ordered both of these and am especially looking forward to Kameron Hurley’s, Empire Ascendant. Excellent month for SFF!
