They beat AvE to the punch on this tear down! Would love to see what Ol’ Uncle Bumblefuck would make of that skookum batteria!

“Frustrate or seduce” has a distinctly “the beatings will continue until morale improves” tone to it. I substituted away from YT because of the ad’s in the app. However, now I run it through my browser with an adblocker and can enjoy hours of uninterrupted music on my phone for free. I actually like the inability to

Looks like Shrek replaced the Donkey!

Came here to say this! Foresters have them too.

Quando Omni Flunkus Moritati!

I was wondering about this issue as my 400hp chipped 7.3 struggled to pull a 10,000lb trailer. I think the 35" mud tires might be reducing my ability to put power on the road. No problems without weight, but add that trailer and holy Dina, you gotta plan your hills a mile in advance!

I run old junk, so when I see a CEL come on, I am usually more surprised it still works than concerned about imminent detonation. My thinking is that if the light is on it can’t be that bad, but I bet in newer vehicles it could actually tell you something useful.

One guy had an Isuzu Trooper, and I had a BJ42 Land Cruiser, pretty normal teenage silliness. However, we attended a private school that was located in a pretty fancy part of a

Not sure if this is helpful, but I drove around for 2 weeks without brakes because I was waiting for a part, then another 2 weeks after that because I had gotten used to it, and wanted to see how long I could go. So you probably don’t need your brakes thaaaat badly...

Not all Herons wear capes!

I got hit by a car when I was 14, and took a $20k settlement at 19. I invested the whole sum, and left it alone after that. With additional contributions over the years my little pile of cash has gotten quite large. I’m sure glad I didn’t listen to all those people telling me to go buy a sweet truck or spend the money

Too bad he doesn’t work on GM products, then it could be General (Motors) Hospital. Also, check out the name of my Land Cruiser fixing blog!

Not the first golden shower to take place in Russia!

A strong argument for a headache rack suited to the load you are carrying. This kind of thing should not happen ever.

I’m going to get philosophical here and suggest that there isn’t one specific part that is most important to learn how to fix. The most important part to fix on your vehicle is yourself and your attitude. If you were never taught to mend your own vehicle, it can be an intimidating prospect, and breaking that mindset
