I’ve been playing a little bit of a bunch of games, so I thought I’d list them here. Throwback to when I used to write these posts!
If they do put Dragons on there, I promise I’ll play it just to get you to stop bugging me to finish it.
It’s been said elsewhere, but Breath of the Wild is the most Far Cry 2-ass game I’ve played since Far Cry 2. Which I mean in the best possible way.
Definitely play it, imo! It’s one of my favorite games.
We’ve been thinking it might be fun to do a series of posts like this, specifically talking about how games ended. Game suggestions welcome!
haha I changed shirts depending on which part I was playing!
Ha, I wish. It’s an Epiphone 335 Pro. I love it, though, especially after I got it worked on some last year.
This one actually didn’t take as long as I thought it would - maybe like, 8-10 hours total? I spent Saturday afternoon writing the arrangement, charting stuff out, recording some of the parts. Then I spent Sunday afternoon figuring out how to do a split-screen video in Premiere (learning curve!) and Sunday night…
“What kind of fuse is that?”
Yep! That’s been our theme song for a while now. I miiiiight do a new one at some point this year but I’ve gotten pretty attached to this one.
Not something I noticed, at least not when playing the VR version (as opposed to classic mode). That said, the new gameplay doesn’t really demand the sort of precision where you’d notice latency, and the audio mix is pretty chaotic in general, since they’re simulating the acoustics of being on stage in a big room,…
We can dream.
Yeah, I liked Moana too. Should’ve done one of those for that movie. My favorite part was near the end, when she sings that super Hamilton-ass song about who she is and where she comes from.
Right you are re: early 90s. And yeah, I don’t actually object to the timeless nature of the original books, and it’s actually a point in their favor that I never really thought about it. Though still refreshing to have a story in that world that takes place in a definite point in time!
Tips For Reading Kotaku’s Tips For Persona 5
Everyone gets XP, but active party members get more of it. There’s also a confidant perk that gives more XP to characters who are on the sidelines.
You know, the usual. Partly cloudy with a chance of extremely inconvenient rain.
Some impressions after playing on Switch docked with the patch last night - I’ve always had more frame rate issues docked than in handheld mode, and they’re easier to notice on the big screen.
They’re both good, albeit in completely different ways. I found them to be complementary - Breath of the Wild offers so much freedom that it’s been hard to play other open world games at the same time. Persona offers a ton of structure, which can actually feel like a relief after several hours wandering through Hyrule…
