When I was looking to buy a house I had similar issues finding something suitable. I ended up buying a plot of land on which to build a garage, with a house included.

I agree that they ruined the Yaris styling. On the subject of Toyota, what happened to the (US Market) Scion iQ?

At least in San Jose, AT&T is now offering 1GB/s and Comcast is offering 2GB/s, which I think was in response to the possibility of Google Fiber. This may be why Google has decided not to bring Fiber to San Jose, and hopefully AT&T and Comcast won’t slow down because Google is no longer a threat. They weren’t really

The Litestar and Pulse kit cars had such a sliding canopy, and even have a lot of airplane-like styling.

Yeah, I don’t know what the streets affected by the law look like, but it sounds like this law was snuck through to get ticket revenue from unsuspecting residents, not carefully considered to balance the safety and convenience of everyone using the road.

A driveway with a garage or parking space at the end is useful for accessing that, but any other driveway is just a nuisance to pedestrians and a trick on residents who would park there. This is the sort of change that should have been given careful thought, public debate, and a vote, with significant advanced notice

That’s definitely a driveway, but it’s also a sidewalk. I think originally it was not intended for parking (at least of such long cars), the road was intended for both vehicular and pedestrian traffic, or pedestrians just weren’t expected in that area. If the usage of the road has changed, then the rules of the road

They sell sprinter chassis cab, onto which various pickup-like beds can be fitted...but I guess that’s not what most people expect in a pickup. I’m a big fan of the sprinter utility body; if I could find a reasonably priced used chassis cab I might sell my 1992 Toyota Pickup.

I think 4x4 vans are cool, but my current obsession is utility body vans

Could have been. The Peugeot 1007 would probably be similarly practical as a taxi to the Fiat prototype, perhaps with the front passenger seat removed.

I’ve been trying to figure out if there’s a practical reason for that layout. Is it just about style? The single door on the driver’s side is longer than the front door on the passenger side...

It seems really practical as a taxi for a cramped city. The door setup is like a tiny bus: standard one for the driver, easy access one for the passengers. Cool little car, too bad it didn’t go into production.

What surprises me is that despite having front and rear cameras built in, and such a fancy infotainment system, there isn’t a dvr/dash cam option from the factory.

I think NHTSA level 3 and SAE level 4 are worse than level 0 and should not be installed in production vehicles. And we’ve seen in the news that some people who own Teslas treat them like level 4/5, making level 2 unsafe for them (I don’t really know what the point of level 2 is anyway, except as a gimmick to trick

Nicholas, according to the first quote, but it’s not uncommon for news articles to refer to someone by their last name.

I thought Yamaha did something like this but I guess the TTX adventure scooter never made it past concept.

Apparently, 6 Golden Coins stored all the data for the cartridge underneath levels (where players were never intended to go) as blocks, pipes, and other broken but familiar in-game objects.

I like the sound of that, even though the meaning of the source word “luddite” (as I understand it) doesn’t directly match. If I heard the word without context, I might think it to mean someone who for example would be fine with owning the newest cell phone, robot vacuum, self-cleaning oven with induction cooktop, and

A tuber?
