There's a lot for me to think about here, so I'm not going to try to rebut it; this is the phase of things where I try to absorb what you're saying, spin it around in my mind, and see what I make of it.

Here is the big issue, I think: much of the Left considers it a betrayal of their principles to support an imperfect candidate, but the Right is under no such handicap.
