Expected two things when I clicked on this:

1. For the article to be way longer than it needs to be.
2. For the article to make it feel like one of the richest and most successful teams in the world with many of its greatest players was a genuine underdog.

I don’t think that presumption of innocence is something that factors into a lot of these accusations given how easy it is for people in power to avoid having said accusations actually taken seriously and investigated.

The message is that it’s more profitable to cater to the lowest common denominator and act like a whore than actually have talent. No amount of doublethinking will change that, not matter how much you want to see her as female empowerment.
