NP -For a low, low price (mebbe even lower than $4k) you can have a running toy in practically no time. I’d leave it in that gray primer color, since just about every 5th new car I spot has their version of “primer gray” under the clearcoat.(What’s with that? Everything is starting to look like a military vehicle.)

The seller could pull the subwoofer and improve their sales prospects. It’s all about the optics.

ND - I love panther platform cars and one with a manual is really tempting, but help me out with the logic here. You do all that work, upgrading and replacing. Detailing the shit out of the exterior, etc... and then you have this fucking rag instead of a proper leather nut sack on the shifter???

Yeah, it’s a goody, but that price is just too bold.  I went with ND but I think it’s a great car at up to $5k. I liked the Merc yesterday too.

Dealers in economic turmoil are not good for customers. The dealers are going through an EV learning curve. A steep one, I don’t want to buy an EV until they have plateaued. There is going to be disruption to the dealer networks in the medium term. These costs / displacement issues are going to cause some to fold,…

In five to ten years, when I buy first EV, they’ll have this sorted out. Until then hybrids look attractive AF to this guy.
