Okay, I concede, liftback>enclosed trunk.

This looks like Forza.
As a longtime Mustang non-fan (antifan? disliker?) I've gotta say, this new one looks sweet. And with a turbo 4 and hopefully better handling body it wouldn't look too out of place in my driveway.
Forgive my lack of knowledge of the European car market, but all I see is this. I'd be happy to be shown some cooler stuff they made but a cheaper version of a Jetta doesn't really do it for me.
At the same time BMW is seducing Toyota with their sweet, sweet straight sixes and electric go-boxes to get Japan in on it as well.
I bet you're a joy at parties. I get what your saying about a personal touch and all that, but the world doesn't work like that anymore. People don't want a personal touch. They want to sit on their couch and get their Dorito fingers on their phone/tablet/iDevice of the week and pick out the car with the pretties…
Looks like a Jetta. Enlighten me, how is Skoda different from VW?
So what do we have here? The UAW did reject the union and Tennessee did get the SUV. Eventually. Also, VW waited until after the UAW announcement saying they were coming back to announce the return of the SUV.
I would be interested in reading about the history of bikes and biking culture. Especially the weird stuff, kinda like what Torch writes about cars minus two wheels. Also cool would be NPoCP style stuff or a Jalop sponsored Craigslist fixer upper bike and the adventures that ensue from it.
An Acura around or below $20k? I don't see that happening, not at that price point at least. I think they could have a good A3, GLA competitor with a properly done-up Integra or whatever they want to call it. Hell even the ILX would work if they made it more "sporty".
I can't speak for their M motors, but I have a 93 525i with 235k miles on it and still going strong. BMW Engines aren't what you worry about, it's all the other stuff that is destined to break.
"Deliveries of minicars rose 5.3 percent in May after a 2.9 percent rise in April, boosting domestic automakers including Toyota, Honda and Nissan Motor Co., which each made profit forecasts for this fiscal year that trailed analysts' estimates."

General Motors said Thursday it has replaced just 47,000 of 2.6 million defective ignition switches and also warned investors to expect more recalls through the summer as the automaker continues to sift through old data looking for any hints of problems with its vehicles.
Do you know how much the entry fee was? I live in AL and I might have to make a day trip to go check it out.
That pretty much sums up my thoughts on the BRZ. I work at a Subaru dealership and have gotten a pretty good daily driving feel for them. They are fantastic for driving back and forth to work and going out for a drive after. Sure more power would be great. But I'd say 90% of my customers that say they wish it was…
