I would love to see a study of her procedure. Perhaps a 3rd party can collect DNA samples from volunteers (via chewing guy, finger nails, hair, etc.). The samples could then be numbered and given to her so she can create a portrait. Once the portrait is complete she can compare the portrait to the actual person.

Can they look any more miserable reciting those lines?

Well, remember, by definition this is a pre-Crisis story. Therefore the alternative universes all still exist. Surely Krypton was spared in some of them.

Personally, I'm open minded. Stories evolve. If Krypton had survived in the comics and filmmakers proposed to destroy it, there would be just as much objection.

I

You do realize that The Avengers is a sequel to Iron Man, The Hulk, Thor, and Captain America, each of which included an origin story, right?

I must be in the minority of people who like the suit. The long underwear look isn't going to cut it anymore. This looks more alien and while I am not crazy about the texture I like what they are trying to convey with it. There is the paneling that evokes an art deco thing or art nouveau, but either way those touches

Not a big deal as far as I'm concerned. And it shouldn't be to anyone else. Would you honestly rather see the exact same thing we've seen over and over again except with different actors or would you rather a few things in the story be changed to make it new and interesting.

Thank you, my friend. :)

Right? I didn't expect the universe to reverberate down my spine.

Same. I had it cranked the first time, too.

That was the most disconcerting sound I've ever heard. I got chills as it got louder. Freaking science, man. Freaking science.

I still feel like these episodes are so disjointed. Nothing gets explained or rationalized. I feel like I've gotten up to get a snack for ten minutes and returned, confused because I missed something... except I was watching the whole episode, vainly trying to make sense of that mess.

It's just a fleshwound.

I think that would be great. Another thing that is well known is that preventing pain is better than treating it. Using long acting drugs with small doses of short acting drugs as needed is superior to just short acting drugs. If you can recognize which patients are likely to have more chronic pain, you can

I have arthritis, and I regularly use videogame play as a way to control my pain.

Those were basically my thoughts. My husband is pretty much the only person I can tolerate for extended periods of time, and I have to make him go away sometimes too. I don't have very many friends, and I don't really want any more; I'm not good at making friends and find the process stressful. I'm not lonely at all.

Umm... no. I don't want my doctor intruding into my private life. I'd rather have 26% less stress-free years, than to live a longer and more stressful life trying to conform to other people.

I was going to say I don't hate people then I stopped to think and (not just now) realized that I semi do. Most people get on my nerves. Loud, obnoxious and ill informed/uneducated (by which I mean unwilling to learn more than what's forced on them up to high school) people get on my nerves and I'm content to limiting

Since I am an introvert with somewhat anti-social tendencies added onto that, I'd just like to say, to paraphrase Dan Halen from Squidbillies, "Science, you cheap whore, stop trying to ruin my day!"

It's hard to make some people understand what is truly going on here. They're entitled to their opinions but don't tell me I should be thankful of Chavismo.

As a Venezuelan who some time has problems finding at times sugar, floor and cooking oil on the same supermarket I can say it's not that extreme but is starting to feel harder and harder. Especially due to the devaluation we had earlier this year.
