How does a movie that looks this good, with this much positive hype and press, only cost $15 million to make??? Compared to the average Marvel movie’s cost of ~$210 million?

It’s striking how similar so many of the Artemis engineering concepts and technological frameworks still are to the lunar missions of the 1960s. Orion is still a capsule that returns to earth and splashes down in the ocean, slowed by parachutes.

It’s crazy to me that Marvel considers movies that make $300-400 million as something less than acceptable. They’ve restructured their entire plans just because their movies no longer reliably make $1 billion each, as if that performance was ever sustainable.
