I can’t imagine how people came up with the idea she looked fat or pregnant. I thought they were trying to make her look like Catelyn—She’s dressing like her, doing her hair similar, lifting her chin the same way. She’s doing the whole regal, determined, absolutism of Sansa’s mother.

Uh . . . last night.

There’s a limited number of people who could provide testimony/proof about whether the marriage was consummated—its boiled down to Tyrion and Sansa, really. And, I don’t think Tyrion would actually make that testimony if it would hurt Sansa. He did try to protect her.

Everyone expected Tyrion to be dead long before the marriage to Ramsey was officiated and consumated. It’s just a quirk of fate (and Varys’ planning) that kept Tyrion alive past the time of his supposed death.

Interestingly, it will technically be a Lannister—Tyrion did marry her first. Mind you, I don’t think she’s pregnant at this moment any more than Theon is—they will both have Ramsey “in” them for the rest of their lives for the same reason—the torture. But, if she has a child—now or later—and if so many folks are

Legally is such an interesting adjective. Does the name Tyrion Lannister mean anything to you? Cause . . . I’m a little vague on what the Westerosi stance on bigamy is, but since Tyrion is still alive and kicking and I don’t recall a formal divorce (Cersei is still looking for her brother and “his” wife for Joffrey’s

I didn’t say that at all. I have no idea what you understand or don’t. I should probably have chosen a different pronoun than ‘you’ in my comment. I was not actually aiming that specifically at you, it just ended up at that moment in the discussion. Apologies for the confusion.

His optimism is actually one of the things I like best about Jon. I get so tired of having everyone on every show be a cynic. It’s nice to have a “nice guy” who is also, usually, a competent guy when it comes to the battle field. There is so much absolute ‘evil’ in the show that it’s nice to have a couple of folks in

It’s a matter of understanding how abuse really works. The physical aspects, while horrible, can usually be fixed. The mental aspects . . . even when you think you’re past it and have gone on with your life . . . they sometimes pop back up when you least expect it. Sansa will never truly be rid of Ramsey or Joffrey or

The sensible Lannisters would tell you that it’s a waste of time and resources to try to take a well-defended/well-supplied Winterfell. It’s too far from their base of power. Now, sense most of the sensible Lannisters have long since left the show or the country, who knows what someone might try.

You know, everyone is assuming Sansa never told him of the Vale men. Maybe the way he challenged her about working with the army they HAD was a sign that she had told him about sending for more help. But it hadn’t arrived, so they had to work with what they had.

Actually, we don’t technically know that she didn’t tell him there was a chance more forces were coming. How long was the break between Jon talking to Sansa, then going to talk to the Red Witch?

And Jon might have believed her reasoning, but when it came down to the moment, he wanted to believe he could save Rickon.

I’m not sure we need extra riders—Dany did okay with just one last night.

Bran is technically the heir now, but . . . functionally, Sansa will probably end up Lady of Winterfell. (And in all the stills, when she has her chin up so firmly, doesn’t she look like Catelyn—the last Lady of Winterfell—in all her determined beauty?)

It doesn’t have to be about a pregnancy—which could be eliminated and eventually forgotten by any number of routes. It’s that he knows he got inside her brain and screwed around with what she thought of herself. It’s one of the things he liked to do—play games with people’s minds. He’s also a part of Theon, now, and

Actually, I don’t think she believes she can really trust Jon. (I’m not sure she can trust anyone any longer.) I think part of it is Sansa’s forgotten that there are honorable men in the world. Since she left Winterfell the first time, all she’s been in contact with are either manipulative, horrible or incompetent.

Yep, and if you add in the bit with Littlefinger giving Robin a falcon, the plot to bring the Vale’s men into the North was in motion even before Sansa actually decided to send for them.

I have to admit I got so wrapped up in the scene that I might have actually yelled at the screen for Rickon to run sideways and hide behind one of the burning bits myself. A straight line is NOT the way to go on an escape with someone shooting at you.

I’m still betting Littlefinger makes a real play for the big throne eventually. This is just another ring on his ladder.
