I’m happy with ignoring Prometheus for now, if this does well I’m sure it will come back in later seasons. But I can’t abide hatred towards Prometheus and the same regurgitated arguments about how stupid the crew were (as stupid as John Hurt in Alien to be exact). Armageddon may have been awful but at least Gervais doing the Golden Globes was watchable

As a writer and showrunner, Davies rightly remembers that Doctor Who can be fun and light and a bit goofy. But he also often forgets that it doesn’t have to be unwatchable, melodramatic crap. Hopefully, he does learn it this time around.

I see nothing to guarantee this is a dud, it looks lovely and everyone’s doing thier best acting, but I bet there’s a twist thier saving and its aliens or each side is being played by external forces (probably Madagascar, I dunno).

can’t believe its not on the list

My family fled progroms in Odessa in much the same fashion. People I knew were killed on October 7th in a kibbutz. And no, it is not occupied Palestine. Read the history of the area.

I mean, I love it, but if there’s a problem with the film it’s in the script. The film looks better than anything on this list in my opinion and has more ideas too.

Prometheus deserves to be higher, and certainly higher than Covenant. People who are determined to find fault, because they’ve been told it is bad, will find fault. But for those who let it take them along for the ride will find it beautiful, weird and creepy.
