Clancy Brown was so good in Carnivale.  Shame that got cancelled after Act I of III.

I really feel like they missed an opportunity by not airing the show on Wednesdays.

It’s less that she needs to be smarter. More that she needs to understand that people suck. That people will tear apart any semantic quality of anything you say to make you say something you didn’t. Unfortunately, what she needs to do is to trust humanity a whole lot less.

I mean, it’s Idris Elba as a hot supervillain. I’ll miss the rest of the F&F characters, but there’s nothing else to complain about.

Well I heard in the next show they’re featuring internet commenters with massive chips on their shoulders, so chin up!

It wasn’t even her actual doctor: it was her *boss* who she went to because she was afraid her deadly form on cancer had come back.

This guy shouldn’t work in the medical field again.

I don’t agree with most of what you said here, but I get it. I think in this episode the SyFy aspects were just window dressing to tell the story. They had to walk a razor’s edge to make sure they didn’t step on, or become part of a history that didn’t feel authentic. But yet the Doctor, and from her look, reluctantly

The best thing you can eat in Detroit isn’t some artisanal doughnut or vegetable carpaccio or pork belly sliders—it’s a freakishly good $3.38 egg roll filled with corned beef and cheese

Was his name, by any chance, Jason Stackhouse?

Goddamn.

I’m honestly as tired as the “John McCain was a terrible terrible person who no one should say nice things about” pieces as the “John McCain was last of a rare and noble breed of American statesmen” pieces. Dude died just yesterday, and in my universe, it’s still poor manners to interrupt other people’s mourning with

Plus, the donations are from low income people to poor people to poorer people. The bottom 50% of this country is all taking care of the other bottom 50%, while the top 50% hoard the wealth and buy 20 homes, and pay their employees so little, their employees qualify for food stamps!

Her mother didn’t say she “came close to starving to death”. Making stuff up about what other people say is dishonest.

“How to handle it when diners fight over the bill?”

IMO, anime subs are better than dubs for the following reasons...

First it takes a ton of skill to be able to hit a 100mph baseball period. Even major league players struggle to do that.
