I dunno. I still think it has more going for it than the Buu saga. SSJ4 is, in my opinion, more interesting than SSJGod and GT had the very good idea of both bringing back the silliness of the original Dragonball (to counterbalance all of that edgy-ness) and traveling in space. Sure, it kind of degenerated into a

Has anyone posted the Lookwell pilot, starring Adam West and produced by Conan O'Brien, yet? It's pretty good, back before Adam West jokes where a thing.

I guess we're going to have to agree to disagree then :P

I dunno. For most cases, sure, that could work, but a strict deadline just seems counter-productive for something like this. As long as the developer is communicative and explains just what is being updated throughout the process, this shouldn't be a problem. Unfortunately, there's still the problem of some devs not

NOE uses a temp agency for its employees, but that is mainly to bypass German work law and be able to lay off people without any notice.

Yeah, I don't get it when people that actually manage to build videogames completely neglect the community or the logistics of running a Kickstarter/Early Access campaign. Weird priorities I guess.

Ah! Yeah, lot's of people get upset with the notion of not having constant updates. It isn't about that. It's about talking with your community and telling them what you're doing. Sometimes you just have to go in and work on things for months instead of providing a new item every week.

I don't think that would work. You'd be forcing strict deadlines on developers who may not even have all the time to dedicate to the game. The problem with this game wasn't the lack of updates, it was the lack of communication with the community. Devs should be able to go work on a feature update for months without

...but the Starbound developers did say that they were possibly going to wipe things. And they also said that that would happen at that point in development and that a new update would be released eventually and that planet wipes would be gone from then on (i'm not sure if they 100% confirmed that). I haven't played

It isn't about the updates. The problem is the lack of communication coming from the devs, and the Starbound devs have been plenty communicative. Lots of game devs have to work on updates for months. Of course they do. Sometimes devs have to work on bigger updates instead of getting caught up in smaller updates.

What's the problem with re-releasing the game outside of the GC, and in HD?

Ahh, I can't agree with you there man, I thought Man of Steel, despite a few holes, was great, not because of WB, but because of Snyder's team and what happened to be a mostly decent script. Plenty of people also thought that, so at least a part of the audience is convinced that this is a good first step, even if WB

They do, don't they? I love Frazetta's paintings. One more artist to keep track of! They do have a much more dramatic/down to earth tone than the current version of the movie. I wonder if this guy was contacted for Episode VII as well? His style seems to fit in better with Star Wars.

Eeeh, maybe you're right, Cap 2 is debatable. I just got annoyed at all the "Oh Marvel is being so smart and edgy" stuff that I've reading since Cap 2 was about to release. Yeah, I know, I should have bigger things to worry about.

You're right, that's fair enough.

The proving something part was based on the directors, not the studios. WB had to accomplish something difficult with Superman in MoS, therefore Zack Snyder was given more control. X-Men, Spiderman and Iron Man were the same for the most part. I'm actually afraid WB is just trying too hard to get a universe under

Oh, c'mon. Cap 2, Avengers, Iron Man and GotG might have been great but are we really believing the obvious PR words that "Cap 2 is a 70's political thriller" and "GotG is an unprecendented, incredibly risky attempt to bring weird obscure characters to the big screen" and even that Thor is a fantasy movie?

Thank you! Goddamn, I thought I was the only one here. Fair game for most of the other movies but the Thor movies are just so... Bland. They do play it safe though, which is probably why it looks like they're okay.

I didn't get "emo" from the color palette at all. I just assumed it was Snyder adding his trademark look to the movie. It felt moody, sure, but it worked well with the rest of the movie. "Emo/edgy/dark-knight-wanabee" just feels like selling it short. This and GotG are the closest thing to a comic book brought to life

The movie had a very mixed reception. People seem to forget that this means that a large portion of the audience didn't like it, but another large portion liked it, which is why I'm still confused why so many people think DC still needs to prove something to them. The movie wasn't 100% accepted, but it's far, far from
