I couldn't agree more. It's all hues now. A game like Metroid can be dark and still have tons of color (which the series has, but this concepts don't). It's like nowadays most art direction in videogames is just "make it all one color". It would be much more interesting if they combined different colors more often.

Hmmm... It doesn't surprise me. Most indie games like this one are horribly optimized. Makes sense.

You guys/gals should try the Modern Warfare mod floating around for Doom as well. It actually makes it feel a lot like MW. Very, very good.

Edayan art is best art. (In the meantime, enjoy as Kinja moves my anottation to a completely unrelated spot.)

Goddamn wind.

...and here goes my flux capacitor joke!

Grampa, please! Every Christmas!

Naah, it's both. People keep wondering why don't the Japanese play PC games.

...And they keep arguing! Jesus, give it a rest.

Oh no! The comment section is being overrun by 20-year-olds with time and money! Run!

This needs fitting music.

Don't worry Americans, I know I'm going to betray my European brothers and sisters with this bit of info but...

wow

Amen! I keep saying that people should program indie games with their old shitty computers and not their brand new high-spec PCs otherwise we get 16 and 64 bit looking games that can't run on my old-ish PC. And this is a PC that can run Crysis on minimum specs. Where's the excuse for that?

Exactly. Where is my remote-controlled Godzilla?

I keep hearing about developers talking about the PC platform as inclusive and then we get games that have high system requirements... It may be the prettiest space game out there but that does NOT make a good, optimized engine. The PC market can't possibly be that large if they keep making games that only the cool
