Death threats are certainly alarming regardless of how they materialize
I must have missed the part where this article said that death threats are NBD. Could you point me towards it?
Which is why people are fine with common-sense rules, and have problems with blanket bans.

You are casually ignoring the difference between trans women and cis men. Including the various ways in which hormone therapy affects trans folks. It’s lazy, and it’s ignorant-trans women are not equivalent to cis men. But here’s the good news! Ignorance is perfectly fine, as long as you’re willing to learn and…
I think I’ll trust actual experts on the subject, rather than some anonymous internet transphobe who can’t be bothered to post any actual facts.
If only we had access to literally the largest compendium of human knowledge ever compiled, and could find an expert who actually knew what they were talking about on this subject!
The only “L” I’m taking is that I got into an argument with an idiot in the grays, which was clearly a pretty big waste of time. Gonna go back to my main account now, you have fun being ignored.
I specified that your claims could be and often were inaccurate, which they are. I notice you entirely ignored the pap smear part, presumably because it illustrates the point in a way you couldn’t wriggle out of with a technicality.
Everyone has some breast tissue. Cis men have some breast tissue. Cis men can and do also sometimes get breast cancer.
You spend an awful lot of words here to prove that you have no idea what you are talking about.
The decision to allow puberty to progress in a trans-identified person is also life-changing. Experts specifically point out that that can cause long-term damage when the adolescent reaches adulthood. To ignore that fact in order to pursue your anti-trans talking points is illogical, ascientific, and disingenuous.
So what you’re saying is that we should listen to the experts, except not the ones you cited?
Weird that you link to that and not AACAP’s actual discussion of trans kids. Almost as though you had a reason for the sleight of hand.
You were literally telling people they weren’t trans on Monday. Fuck off.
Saying you’re uncomfortable with a label =/= Saying you’re uncomfortable with labels.
That’s fair! I mean, I truly don’t care about what kind of shit you want to talk about them-my only horse in this particular race is the “not falling back on transphobic tropes as a means of showing disrespect” one.
Ahhh, there’s the transphobia. Never takes much, does it?
The problem is that when you, kind and gentle commenter, refuse to use their proper pronouns, that doesn’t just indicate your disrespect of them alone. It also signals that you view transgender identities as something that can be taken away, that respecting someone’s identity is something you will only do if they meet…
It’s awful, I totally agree. And you have to wonder who really benefits from these divisions? I suspect it’s not trans people or feminists. At any rate, congrats on the pregnancy!
