He’s gaslighting everyone. Doing one thing, which we can all see and verify, then saying we didn’t see what we clearly saw. Classics narcissist technique and a favourite of dictators the world over.

He was amazing as Orson Welles in Tim Burton’s Ed Wood too.

He was also the big bug in Men In Black. His Law & Order character has always been my favorite (Munch is 2nd). D’Onofrio really is a good actor with incredible range.

Yeah, the “judeo” part has always reminded me of the early season theme song from Gilligan’s Island — “Gilligan, the skipper, too. The millionaire, and his wiiiiife. The movie star, and the rest.” Jeez, there were only two characters left. You couldn’t name them?

On my insistence (bah humbug) our family stopped doing presents about 15 years ago. We’ve never looked back. It saves so much stress and money and time, so we can spend that energy hanging out, eating and drinking together.

It didn’t look like anything to me.

I loved that group. The show had such a different kind of potential back then.

I would be ok with airing mental health treatment if the goal was to normalize and introduce the general public to said treatment. I have no illusion that this is going to occur in this instance and wholly back your statement.

One of the reasons I liked Dr. Nancy Snyderman (before that whole Ebola debacle) was when she was talking to Matt Lauer and he was all like, “what about the vaccine controversy?” and she said something like, “There IS NO CONTROVERSY. It’s science. Vaccines save lives.” Matt was very taken aback and she was very stern

There was a teenage girl on Dr. Phil a few weeks ago who was clearly exhibiting the behaviors of paranoid schizophrenia. The LAST thing this girl needed was to be on national TV.

I got the book and the DVD as a Christmas (or was it a birthday?) present one year. I know empirically that The Secret is bullshit, because that is most definitely not what I wanted.

I think that’s the most egregious mistake of all because back when she brought Dr Phil to her show he wasn’t this bad. He was much more light hearted and didn’t take himself too seriously. Then as the seasons passed, he became so unbearable and exploitative. I don’t think that’s in her hands. But the anti-vax

Dr. Phil does usually refer people to local, long-term treatment programs though, doesn’t he? He used to...

I really wish that Oprah had never brought Dr.’s Phil & Oz out of the grays.

BIDEN: Tell him on Tuesdays he has to spring for tacos for the former president. Say it’s tradition.

So..... he has a tiger and lives in a make believe world and has an overactive imagination.....I don’t have a problem with that
