I’ve been watching it since 1976 when I was a young’un. They’ve always done their best stuff in Pop Culture parody and political satire. I can’t judge by seasons, but the show has certainly changed from an anti-establishment vehicle to an established institution. I would say the best seasons were from the beginning

At first I thought maybe they were what we call “Buzzards” but are known as Turkey Vultures elsewhere. But those guys FLY in a circle. And these are definitely some kind of Turkey. Bizarre.
