My wife and I went to the Pebble Beach Concours this year and the year previous. She got all dressed up, as did I, and really had a great time. She spent months considering her hat choice.

Do not ask for whom the bell tolls. The bell tolls for thee, youngster.
Hey, a replacement for our 335d in a few years.
No specific story here, but if you show up at a rental car counter with your helmet, things can get interesting pretty quickly.
Just like the cheese curds, they squeak out.
Remove way back rear seat are and axle, install 911 power train.
My wife and I are contemplating building a retirement house. One of our challenges as we age will be keeping the heat on and buying fuel for our cars and motorcycles. We figure that we’d be fools not to put solar on the house because we’ll essentially have CO2 free power generation for the rest of our lives.
It’s not like we didn’t fight a war 250 years ago to eliminate this issue:
If you don’t have a factual rebuttal, you go full ad hominem.
Given that higher octane suppresses detonation, it wouldn’t be unreasonable to expect that premium fuel might actually hurt mileage in a vehicle using compression based ignition.
I’m glad it works for you. Have a great day.
“Inferior” by what measurement? Taking another 20 seconds to edit an email? Maybe you don’t have desk space, so pushing a mouse is tough. Maybe you edit documents or work on spreadsheets all day long and you’d like to prevent repetitive stress injuries? Speed != better in every instance.
And everybody knows that mousing speed is crucial when editing Word documents or replying to email.
Let me add in any form of upper body repetitive stress injuries, along with various forms of arthritis. My wife has had a trackball as her regular mouse for 15 years and it’s made a huge difference in her arthritis discomfort.
I think you have confused myself and another poster regarding the “close enough” comment.
Thanks. I’ve been there a bunch of times, but couldn’t remember.
The yellow stuff is from Aston Martin’s racing history. They used to paint the grill yellow so they could spot their cars, back when everyone ran their national color in Gran Prix racing.
The picture was taken out at the spot where James Dean died. It’s at the intersection of CA 33 and another state highway that isn’t coming to mind right now.
That thing is uglier than a current Prius, which is going some. It looks like some kind scrapbook of nifty car features that have been put together in some kind of 3d collage. I looked and I couldn’t find one line in that car that makes a lick of sense or adds even the remotest bit of grace and elegance.
I’ve been a motorcycle enthusiast for decades. During that time, I’ve been subscribed to a series of mailing lists dedicated to technical diagnoses of broken motorcycles.
