Because corporations have a legal responsibility to maximize profits, and no legal responsibility to be “woke and with it”.

Honestly, who cares. As long as it still ends up helping people and helps normalize things, let them make money. Good things being done for a reason is still a good thing being done.
my take was someone had a negative interaction with the dog, Perrette went to bat for the person she bumped into the usual “but my dog is a good dog and its no big deal so suck it up” and then a single incident happened. if an interview says she claims it happened over and over then thats another matter I honestly…
But does the average gamer have the high IQ required to understand this game?
It seems pretty funny to me. I dunno, maybe your IQ just isn’t high enough to really understand it.
is this your cat?
There’s one really good, foolproof way to ensure that strangers don’t overfeed your cat with inappropriate food.
I tried to explain this theory to my Mom once. She just kept saying, “That’s terrible. Someone needs to let the kitty out of the box.” over and over. I repeatedly tried to explain that it was a metaphorical kitty and more of a thought-exercise to explain quantum mechanics, but she just firmly replied, “Okay, but…
Shang Tsung looks incredible, and both NIghtwolf and Sindel were secondary mains in MK9 so I’m super glad to see them back in the mix. Spawn I could take or leave, and I’m fine with MK going ham for guest characters, plus now that he’s in MK11 he doesn’t have to take up a roster spot in Injustice 3.

By this criteria, Endgame should have done really well.
The museum also confusingly used the exact same font as the band! Well almost exact same; well exact same except completely different, which I’m sure is legally just as bad.
“They’re also about power and forced compliance. Cops hate the idea of people avoiding situations where the cops might get to exert power over them, even if that power is just them getting to decide someone isn’t breaking the law.”
There’s no reason to be upset given that the purpose of these various cameras and such is to improve public safety, so a phone warning should produce the same result. Unless law enforcement wishes to admit that these devices are actually about revenue generation and not safety...
Agree with this. There is no need to shit all over Backdraft. It was a huge movie that a lot of people liked and a technical marvel. It was a serviceable story with great actors, but the star was the practical fire effects, which were truly unique. They were new and bold at the time, and basically no one does them…
Probably because it’s not “woke” enough or some such BS.
Can I agree that the apology was lame while still thinking the “#Rashomon” tag was well-used? Regardless of it being used in reference to an Asian, it distills his point into a single word: Two people may remember the same event very differently, without deceitful intent on either side. It’s certainly less charged…
