I bought my Dad's Christmas present today: a Jayne hat off Etsy. The knitter is even making it extra big so it fits on his giant 24.5 inch head.

I figured the first time around it had a shit ending, too. I will let it go.

That is brilliant!

What's up with all the photos inside the polling stations? I thought you weren't allowed to take pictures and they even made me turn my phone off at the door.

Damn, I missed it! Maybe they'll replay it later.

My kids are 13. My daughter designed her own costume and told me she was some sort of Anime cat-girl. I think she just wanted to wear a lot of pink and black accessories. I helped by doing all the sewing for her top and ears and let her talk me into buying a wig. She was super-cute in a gothy way.

I really liked it. I would watch it every week.

Man, I saw a clip of the Honey Boo Boo mom on the soup this weekend where they were talking about her crusty neck, and she was embarrassed and said she bathed regularly, and I just wanted to yell at them, "That thickening of the skin on the neck means diabetes!"

I just bought some of that in Houndstooth! Unfortunately I have some anxiety and when it goes up, I bite my nails. I usually don't even know I'm doing it. I have some beige polish on now so I can try to get some length before I go to see P.I.L. on November 1st. I'm totally dressing up and punking out to go see

I just want to say, I am so glad to be living right now. My parents have been trying to get me and my kids out to the State Fair of Texas all month, but my son and I have Celiac disease and its just a pain sometimes to find food we can eat (we are wheat and gluten free.) So we are going to morrow and I looked it up

Then I say go for it. The worst that can happen is that you don't like it and you can go get it permed again. If it grows fast, you could be back to pixie in no time. :)

That is the truth. My husband's grandmother died 2 and a half years ago. The estate was supposed to be split 4 ways between her three living children and my husband (because his mom died when he was 11 and Grandma raised him after). Two siblings were named executor and Grandma picked the two who are the most

I'm a Japanese Irish girl, so I have super flat hair and no advice. But I have to tell you, I love it when girls have little fros. They are cute.

My parents became a little concerned when I was in the 3rd or 4th grade and repeatedly rented the cartoon Watership Down. They would guide me towards other things, but I was really into the bunny drama.

Having grown up and living around Dallas my whole life, I wonder every year if other cities and states have Fair Day.

When I was in elementary school, I watched the Neverending Story everyday for months and months. I'm still here, so I can only assume my Mom is a saint. I haven't made it all the way through the movie as an adult.

I can understand the education part. I knew more than a few people who were thrown out of their parent's houses as soon as they came out. It's hard to be 17, couch surfing, trying to work enough to feed yourself. Without that support, most of the kids I knew in that situation didn't even get their GED for years.

Now that I have netflix, I've caught up on the Glades, a Police procedural in Florida, and now I'm watching Torchwood. My autistic 13 year old discovered Rugrats and it's a little less brain melting than watching the same Blues Clues episodes over and over.

Anything worth having always is! :)

I am a white girl who is constantly in awe of afros. I think they're cute and I'm a little jealous.
