Sure, there’s a movie sequel out now called Independence Day: Resurgence. Of course, it’s missing a lot of weird over-the-top charm that made the first movie fun. Thankfully, there’s a better option out there.

CBS has finally announced an official name for the alternate timeline that started with 2009's Star Trek. Given that most of the unofficial ones weren’t particularly complimentary, it’s weird it took them this long to choose one.

I can’t imagine how long it took them to come up with something that worked as well for Spider-Gwen as Spider-Ham worked for Spider-Man. You can tell it’s a bit harder to grasp, since Spider-Ham stops to explain it.

We all know that movies take liberties with things. And a lot of the time, we’re able to suspend our disbelief. But when a movie gets something wrong that you live very day, that can be a little bit harder.
