The briefest promise of spring (i.e. the first sunny afternoon in like 6 months) plus tax returns naturally means clothes shopping! Let me share with you some of the lovelies I have purchased in the last 48 hours:

On Saturday, the Odessa Philharmonic and Odessa Opera Chorus performed Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" in the Privoz Fish Market. The group calls themselves the Odessa Musicians for Peace and Brotherhood, and their performance was intended to celebrate Ukrainian unity.

I had to shake no fewer than three Cheez-it boxes on the floor in my office to find the one that still had Cheez-its in it for lunchtime noms.

One of you—I don't think it was a specific one, you were a dream amalgam of several people—had a lynx running loose in your house. It wasn't a normal lynx, but some sort of fantastical lynx variant.
