The hardest part of being newlywed, for me, was all those things I thought were premarital quirks turned out to be actual personality traits. Two weeks before my casual wedding, T'other decided that a white lace dress was, yes, actually important.

Nope, they do not.
"He didn't print". Is that like the new version of "I did not inhale"?
Well, actually, we don't.
I'm not Isha's biggest fan, or even a mild supporter, but yet I recognized the Tongue-In-Cheek aspect of of this.
So, that time when I pinned a whole lot of purple balloons on me and went as a bunch of grapes was not just sweaty as hell, but also lame? Huh.
The whole email is beyond over-the-top, but that last line . . . !

No, the key factor here is that it is very very hard to get a diagnosis for disorders of this kind. The mere fact that something happened once is not enough for most people to seek out, let alone receive, a proper diagnosis.
Thanks. :)
t'other has an atypical non-rem violent sleep behaviour disorder. Meds help, but don't always prevent. We have worked out a two-part deal. T'other sleeps on the couch whenever I don't feel safe, and any bruises I get in the night are . . . accepted ? . . . as a consequence of illness. Like cleaning up someone's vomit:…
While I understand your confusion here regarding the rights of his sleeping partner, I am appalled by your bunny quotes surrounding the word sexsomnia. I thought Jezebel was one of the few sites that accepts that mental health is a real issue, one that needs and deserves to be treated fairly and matter of factly.
Check your facts - September 2013-August 2014 is UNDER a year. You are being more than a little irrational here.
Thanks.
This post has scared me. I live in northern Alberta where tb is not rare. For the last six-eight months I have had night sweats, fatigue and a cough.
Yes. It is very likely that a person with TB doesn't know it. They WERE NOT NEGLIGENT, just not diagnosed.
They didn't know. This a highly contagious disease whose carriers tend to present as healthy. See also Typhoid Mary.
"Bonafied Ass". Yup. Bonafied!
