Freaky Links!! Now there's a blast from the past.

I'm going to have to disagree with you. This is a great time for science fiction, and while there are a ton of Superhero, Middle Earth and monster (zombie, vampire) movies and television getting made. There are also a lot of chances being taken on interesting Sci-Fi stories.

Smell's like cancelled to me. And unfortunately all hope of getting a great supernatural show that isn't on the CW (not that I don't like me some CW sometimes) with it.

I was thinking the same thing. I thought it looked terrible. The tone feels off and the special effects look bad. I'm surprised by all the love for it here. Plus I have no faith in Goyer at all (outside Da Vinci's Demon's which I'm surprisingly enjoying). Ya he's blonde and "British" but why does he seem so

You mean his Grimm powers? or his creepy death sleep powers, that have seemed to have subsided with absolutely no explanation.

I think he beefed up for Pompeii.
BTW - spoiler alert for Pompeii ...

Hexenbeasts are lame.

Except the Night King, it would seem he was turned.

I thought the child was great. One of the best "really young" child performances I've seen since Ponette. But I guess to each his own. The fact that the child spoke no english and learned her lines on the set made me love her performance even more. If I had to find a weakness in the film I'd say it was that the

I was so ready to skip this, and then they went and cast my fave suit. Too bad they also cast Zaldana. I'm supposed to sympathize with Rosemary right?

LOL, I like you.

I'm with you. I'm not sold on a Witchblade movie for various reasons, though I've watched the series more times than I can count. But Darkness would be AWESOME.

Killing on Carnival Row!!! Is it??????

I watched it a couple of days ago, and I'm still not sure what I think of it, other than it was crazy. I can see why the Weinsteins wanted to "fix it" though, I don't think NA audiences are going to "get it".

Snowpiercer is some kinda crazy. Be ready. It's like a cross between The Day After Tomorrow, Kung Fu Hustle with shades of the Matrix thrown in.

Seriously? The Fall is one of my favourite movies of all time. You're harsh man, harsh.

I wouldn't say Hollywood only makes sequels and reboots, but compare the budgets and marketing pushes behind the reboots/sequels to the original properties and you'll see where their loyalties lie (for the most part anyway).

Original is one thing, but they also gotta be good. Out of this list there are maybe only 4 or 5 I'd pay to see… oh wait I guess that means I make quota.

This screenplay is so good, and Emily Blunt looks amazing, but casting Cruise feels like a mistake. I'm thinking this is going to be another Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Very pretty to look at, makes tons of money and is generally thought of as a success, but ultimately hollow and leaves you wanting.
