For today’s soap box about elections having consequences, POTUS nominates the chair & vice chair of the NTSB. While you may not like any candidate, it is important to remember who they are going to be putting in positions like this. Seeing as Trump appointed a Verizon lawyer to run the FCC, someone who spent her life

They allowed the suspected criminals to be “a party” to the investigation. Fucking hell, in no other type of criminal investigation do the perps get that privilege.

do not taunt CT

Your CT does not believe in hesitation. Your CT believes that real leaders make bold decisions and move forward. Your CT believes in you. As a result, the accelerator may or may not disengage when the brake is depressed if your CT believes that stopping will leave you short of achieving your full potential.

“We have reviewed logs and due to the terrain, the accelerator may or may not disengage when the brake is depressed...”

The problem is that the aesthetics/styling of the thing speaks to having made the absolute worst engineering choices from the get-go. Right from the materials choices to steering to tyres. At every damn turn, they made shit decisions.

This thing is such a mess. Put aside styling aesthetics or feelings about the CEO and just looking at how it’s designed an put together and they really screwed a lot up. It’s a worse tow vehicle then their own Model X. It sucks as an actual truck from a loading and capacity perspective. Lots of things failing like

In the Tesla Cybertruck’s defense, it’s awful in plenty of other ways, too!

Elon lied? The lying liar who lies, lied? I’m shocked, so shocked.

And a hideous one at that

A. Financial literacy is horrible in this country, and for good reason. We have huge businesses built on predatory lending and taking advantage of ignorance.

Seeing this image makes me feel even more sorry for this woman. Who just needed a car, and was desperate enough to trust a place like this.

They probably stonewalled the fuck out of her and lied their asses off to cover up what is going on.

The cop who showed up summed up how little they care about actually doing anything about it when he said she had a good standing for a civil case.

Lazy cops will side with the business and just say its a civil matter.

Regardless, if you have a contract and don’t miss a payment, they have no right to take it. Only way that would be possible is if the contract stated they could repo the car for any reason and were not required to pay back the payments made, which would not legally hold up.

Most likely a BHPH lot that doesn’t release the title to you until you pay off the absolutely absurd amount ($6k for an 18 year old Taurus is larceny!).

This is just theft, followed by sale of stolen goods.  The dealership owner ought to be sitting in a prison cell by now.

the article does not seem to say - but I think the loan was direct with the dealership and not with a bank.
